Our Doctoral Programs prepare competent professionals to provide services to the community.
The Ph.D. Program in general psychology was created to provide experienced master's level psychologists with doctoral level preparation
to enhance their professional knowledge, skills, and attitudes. This program was crated to meet the needs of the licensed psychologist without doctoral level professional training.
The mission of the I/O Psychology Program is to provide an excellent training in the area of industrial organizational psychology that integrates theory and practice and that contribute to
enhance human performance and quality of life in organizational contexts.
The Ph.D. Program offers doctoral education and training in clinical psychology, having as one of its major goals the preparation of students for research
scholarship and clinical practice. The Program's mission emphasizes a holistic, dynamic and integrated perspective, which is realized through a balanced and interconnected sequence of didactic offerings, research opportunities, and experiential clinical training placements where services are provide to the community. These activities are developed within a context of awareness and sensitivity towards culturally diverse constituencies, with special attention to the Puerto Rican society.
The Psy.D. Program trains culturally sensitive Hispanic clinical psychologists with the necessary competencies to provide services to clients, families and
Hispanic groups along with the social system. Its mission focuses on a holistic, dynamic and integrated perspective that is realized through a balanced and interconnected sequence of didactic coursework and experiential clinical training. Our Training Program prepare students as professional clinical psychologists, who provide comprehensive psychodiagnostic and psychotherapeutic services, assume professional roles in administrative and supervisory positions in mental health programs, as well as provide professional psychological consultation.  It also trains students to be consumers of research and base their work on the foundation of scientific evidence and scholarly work.
